Published orders and citation requests
CHCPBC is required under the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA) to publish certain information about the complaints we investigate, including summary protection orders, citation requests, and disciplinary orders. Also see archived public notices published under the Health Professions Act.
Summary protection orders
Summary protection orders are interim orders to impose limits or conditions or suspend a licensee’s practice authority while a complaint against them is being investigated. Click on the name of a licensee to read an order.
Citation requests
If the Investigation Committee determines that concerns raised about a licensee should be considered at a discipline hearing before the independent Health Professions Discipline Tribunal, it can make a request for a citation to the Director of Discipline who oversees the tribunal. Click on the name of a licensee to read a citation request.
There are no citation requests at this time.
Disciplinary orders
A disciplinary order is made by the Registrar, the Investigation Committee, or a discipline panel to address concerns raised about a licensee. Examples of disciplinary orders include reprimands, orders for remedial educational activity, and limits or conditions on a licensee’s practice authority. Click on the name of a licensee to read a disciplinary order.
