CHCPBC investigates complaints about licensees in the professions we regulate, as well as allegations against unlicensed practitioners performing a restricted activity.

Complaints about competence or conduct
If you have experienced what you perceive to be incompetent practice or unprofessional conduct by a healthcare professional licensed by CHCPBC, you may choose to make a complaint.
Complaints about sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, and discrimination
If you have experienced sexual misconduct, sexual abuse, or discrimination by a healthcare professional licensed by CHCPBC, you may choose to make a complaint. Additional supports may be available to you through CHCPBC’s Support Program.
Duties to report
The Health Professionals and Occupations Act outlines circumstances where a CHCPBC licensee—or, in limited cases, a non-licensee—have a duty to submit a regulatory report about a licensed healthcare professional.
Concerns about unauthorized practice
If you know of someone who is performing a restricted activity without being licensed to do so, or someone improperly using an exclusive title, please notify CHCPBC.
