Practice resources assist and support licensees with awareness and application of regulatory requirements, outlined in Ethics and Practice Standards, Bylaws, the Health Professions and Occupation Act (HPOA), and regulations.
Licensees are encouraged to contact CHCPBC Practice Support when seeking information related to implementing regulatory requirements into practice. Profession-specific Practice Advisors help to increase licensees’ awareness of regulatory requirements and College resources to support decision-making in practice.

Retired, publicly available practice resources
The following practice resources created under the Health Professions Act (HPA) are retired, effective April 1, 2026, corresponding with the HPOA in-force date. For the time being, the documents will continue to be publicly available as general information for licensees in their specific practice setting. However, effective April 1, these retired documents are not considered standards or guidance under the HPOA. In time, these retired resource documents will no longer be publicly available and will be replaced with practice resources under the HPOA.
